Did you know that there are over 2,000 types of garlic! Most supermarkets sell one type of garlic know as “soft neck” garlic, which stores for a long time. But… the healthiest and best-tasting garlic is “hard neck” garlic. There are many varieties of hard neck garlic and we are growing four here on the farm: sweet Chesnock Red, mild Georgian Crystal, classic Killarney Red and hot Romanian Red. Coming to restaurants, farmers markets and store soon (we hope)!
